Vision
The vision of the Innovation in Integrated Informatics LAB (iLAB) research group is to develop innovative computational tools, techniques, and solutions for human-building interaction and situational awareness through integration of information gathering, processing and information systems. Research at iLAB presently focuses on three diverse and equally supportive research areas:
Human Building Interaction for Energy Efficiency
Situational Awareness for the Built Environment
Building Information Technology & Management
iLAB is located in the Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California.
