Vision
The vision of the Innovation in Integrated Informatics LAB (iLAB) research group is to develop innovative computational tools, techniques, and solutions for planning, design, construction, and operation of architecture, engineering, construction projects through integration of information gathering, processing and information systems.
Research at iLAB presently focuses on five diverse and equally supportive research areas:
Sustainable Practices
Integrated Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) Practices
Building Information Technology & Management
Construction Automation & Simulation
Innovations in Engineering Education
iLAB is located in the Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California.
