Vision:

The vision of the Innovation in Integrated Informatics LAB (iLAB) research group is to develop innovative computational tools, techniques, and solutions for planning, design, construction, and operation of AEC projects through integration of information processing and information systems.

Research at iLAB presently focuses on six diverse and equally supportive research areas: Sustainable Practices, Integrated Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) Practices, Building Information Technology & Management, Construction Automation & Simulation, Innovations in Engineering Education, and Infrastructure  & Urbanism.

iLAB is located in the Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California.
